ABOUT
My name is Aiesha Hunter and I am a live performing musician based in Scotland, mainly in the Fife and Perth areas. I am a vocalist but I can also play many percussion instruments including drums and xylophone. My main focus, singing wise, since joining the HNC course is my band “Between The Lines” in which I am the lead vocalist. We’ve been together for almost a year and are soon to record and release our first EP. We often gig around the Perth and Dundee areas and we hope to continue doing so and performing other places more this year.
When I’m not performing with my band, with other fellow musicians or as a solo artist, I spend my time writing and recording original work. I used this skill through my Songwriting class and the tasks I was given in said class. I also write original songs for my band “Between The Lines” which we perform live and are soon to record.
In years to come, I plan to become a member with the Scottish Music Industry Association (SMIA), PRS, Musicians Union and potentially apply for funding with Creative Scotland. I believe these professional bodies will help and benefit me as a musician, songwriter and live performer.
