I submitted the Planning stage of my graded unit and finalised the checklist I made to prepare and complete everything for the Development stage.
26th February 2017
I had my logo created by a graphic designer today. I began collecting together images and videos to add to the gallery and music sections of my website. I also saved and collected the posters from the previous gigs.
1st March 2017
I began writing up my press pack which included discography and music CV. I also wrote up my "about" page. I wrote all of this on Word and saved this all on my folder containing the things to use on my website.
8th March 2017
Today I wrote up the health and safety information and checklist. I also retrieved and rewrote the professional business contacts page and added all of this to the website folder.
15th March 2017
I completed the press pack which also included the biography and HNC core modules information and added this to the website folder. I then began designing and editing my actual website.
20th March 2017
Today I signed up and created my Youtube and Soundcloud accounts, ready to upload any music and/or videos. I will use these platforms to showcase my music and my band.
25th March 2017
I uploaded the "about" page, all the information in the press pack, health and safety checklist, professional business contacts page, information about professional bodies I plan to belong to and the HNC core modules information. I then added the hyperlinks from the website to Youtube, Soundcloud and Instagram.
31st March 2017
Today I created my business cards through Vistaprint and added these to my website. I also continued editing my website and adding my logo to Youtube and Soundcloud.
8th April 2017
I collected the footage and photos taken of my band and I by Dougie Noble at our gig at the Redd Function Suite in Dundee on the 6th April. I then added these photos to the gallery section of the website.
11th April 2017
I finished editing and arranging on all the pages apart from the music page. I also finished writing up the contact information and the pop up welcome screen.
17th April 2017
I began uploading videos of "Between The Lines" performing from the last gig in Dundee and the first gig we done at the Green Room in Perth to Youtube. I then hyperlinked these videos to my music page on the website.
18th April 2017
I finished uploading my covers with Clare Houston to Youtube and hyperlinked these to the music page on this website.
19th April 2017
I created my music Facebook page and included information about why I created the page and pictures on this page. I also invited people to follow and like it. I then hyperlinked this page to the contact page on the website. I then added the finishing touches to the website, ready to submit.
